The Undergrounds or the Undergrounds and the Castle

Attention! This tour takes place with a polish guide, english audio guides are available near the route's entrance. The Undergrounds is a 35-minute guided tour through tunnels under the main courtyard, during which tourists will see, among others, underground bunker chambers, concrete hall and fascinating audiovisual presentations. Available as a standalone tour, a joint tour with the castle and palm house or as an All Day ticket which includes the Undergrounds, Castle, Mausoleum, Stables and the Palm House.

THE CASTLE WITH AN AUDIO GUIDE

This approximately 90-minute route passes through the medieval-renaissance part of the castle, the most beautiful castle halls (including baroque salons), WWII era rooms and restored rooms of the 3rd floor. Possibility to purchase a ticket extended with the stables and the spa (Szczawno-Jedlina Health Resort).

Tajemnice II Wojny Światowej

Specjalna trasa zwiedzania z przewodnikiem trwająca ok. 70 minut, podczas której dowiecie się, jakie przebudowy zostały wykonane na terenie Zamku Książ w latach 1941-1945, jakie były losy Hochbergów oraz cennych dzieł zdobiących to miejsce. Mauzoleum Hochbergów

Zwiedzanie Mauzoleum Hochbergów odbywa się bez przewodnika i trwa ok. 15 minut. Obiekt znajduje się w parku, ok. 700 m od zamku i ok. 250 m od Parkingu Głównego. Wnętrze mauzoleum zdobią bogate dekoracje oraz freski F.A. Schefflera prezentujące Książ z 4 stron świata. Podczas zwiedzania można zejść do podziemnej krypty doświetlonej przez 9 świetlików.

Festival - Underground Route (additional ticket)

These are tickers for visiting the underground on 1-5.05.2024, during the Festival of Flowers and Art - however, these tickets are additional tickets! At the stage of purchasing tickets to the underground, you choose the day and time of the visit, the duration of the visit is 45 minutes. Tickets are additional tickets, therefore a festival ticket valid on the same day is also required (you can buy it in the event; Festival of Flowers) - you add selected tickets to your basket.

Attention! This tour takes place with a polish guide. Why is the Palm House in Wałbrzych called the "biggest flower bouquet"? Is it true that its interiors are lined with solidified lava from the Etna volcano? How many species of plants from different climatic zones are currently growing in the Palm House in Wałbrzych? These and other curiosities related to the history of the Wałbrzych Palm House can be found during the evening guided tour of the Palm House. On July Fridays, we invite you on a journey through the continents, where you will see bamboos, ficuses, eucalyptus, spruces and pines from Australia, as well as perennials, cacti, agaves and beautiful citrus plants.

A non-commercial photo session on the terraces. It allows entrance for up to 4 people. The Chestnut Terrace, where the cafe is located, is excluded from the possibility of taking photos. Payment of the session fee does not entitle you to enter the castle. Please be advised that the castle interiors have been excluded from non-commercial photo sessions. If you are interested in a commercial session in the castle / palm house / on the terraces, please contact the Marketing Department: marketing@ksiaz.walbrzych.pl, phone 74. 66 43 827 (inquiries are priced individually). Attention! Currently, renovation works are underway on the terraces. Therefore, some of them have safety barriers.
