The album contains several dozen additional photos donated by Prince Bolko von Hochberg from the collection of the Hochberg family. In over a hundred-year-old photos, apart from Princess Daisy, Prince John Henry XV and their three sons, we will also see the last representatives of the famous Silesian family, whose early childhood was spent in Książ and Pszczyna. Louis Hardouin (1877–1954) - master of culinary arts, employed in restaurants and residences in many European countries. Educated in France, he gained extensive professional experience primarily in London. From 1909 to 1926, he was in charge of the kitchen at the Hochbergs' court in Książ, and probably worked for Hans Heinrich XV until 1932. Książ owes its unique photos to his great photographic passion, miraculously preserved in the family collection, including numerous stereoscopic glass positives that create the illusion of three-dimensionality. These are images of the proud shape of the castle immersed in the greenery and of its surroundings, as well as aristocratic owners and their employees. With his camera, Hardouin captured the landscapes of all seasons - the local flora and fauna, and the views of Wałbrzych and Pszczyna and many places he visited during his travels around Europe. A loving husband and father affectionately presented his wife and sons. He also liked to photograph princely children spending time with the Hardouins. He documented the life of the manor by portraying: nannies, butlers, cooks, guards, foresters, teachers, grooms, coachmen, forys, gardeners, butchers, law enforcement, farmers and managers. Thanks to this testimony, it is easier to understand the complexity of the great organism that was Książ in the last years of the Hochbergs at the castle.
